On a phone? TaniX Chat is coming to Google Play and the App Store. Until then, open the Academy chat at app.tanimawoai.com.
Install it on Windows
- Download. Click Windows above. If your browser says the file “isn’t commonly downloaded”, choose Keep.
- Open the file. TaniX-Chat-1.0.3-win-x64.exe, from your Downloads folder.
- “Windows protected your PC”. Windows says this for every new app. Click More info, then Run anyway.
- Install. Keep the suggested folder and click Install. No administrator password is needed.
- Sign in. Use your Academy email. It remembers you.
- Leave it running. Closing the window keeps it in the system tray, so messages still arrive.
Install it on a Mac
- Pick your Mac. Not sure which? Apple menu → About This Mac. “Chip: Apple M…” means Apple chip.
- Open the .dmg. Double-click it, then drag TaniX Chat onto the Applications folder.
- Open it the first time. In Applications, right-click TaniX Chat and choose Open, then Open again. macOS asks once because the app is not signed by Apple yet.
- If it says the app is damaged. System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, click Open Anyway.
- Sign in. Use your Academy email. The unread count appears on the Dock icon.
