What’s new
Everything we build and fix across the website, the user app and the Code Lab. Newest first.

A clearer home page and your own web address
- New
Your website can now live on its own address. Websites built in the Code Lab sit on your-name.tanix.app, and if you have connected your own domain, the Code Lab address now sends visitors straight to it.
- New
This change log. So you can see what we are building without asking.
- Improved
The world map is in full colour. Real land and sea instead of a flat wash, and the user pins have more room to breathe, so crowded countries are readable.
- Improved
Every card and panel has a softer, deeper finish. Light catches the edges across the whole site, in a way that still works on a small phone.
- Improved
The site is lighter on mobile data. Smaller pictures and one less file to download on every page.
- Fixed
Titles no longer break across two lines when they fit on one. On the home page and on the user website wall, on phones as well as computers.
- Removed
Two bands that said the same thing twice. The supporters ribbon under the footer and the short community band on the home page. The full community page and the admin records are untouched.
Earlier this month
- New
Recently deleted. A website you delete waits 30 days before it goes for good, so you can put it back.
- New
Change address. Rename a published website and keep every old link working.
- New
Connect your own domain. Point a name you own at the website you built here.
- New
Community feed and the user app. Posts, follows and replies, plus your websites, certificates and points in one place.
- Improved
Voice and video calls connect on mobile networks. Calls now relay properly between two phones.
